Epoxy vinyl ester resin on Bisphenol A
- Polyester resin PV 300 TA It has increased resistance to aggressive chemical environments, osmosis, impact and tearing loads. It is recommended for use as a liner (protective layer) in the manufacture of pipelines, tanks designed to move and store aggressive liquids. Serves as a barrier layer placed behind the decorative gel coat of boat and yacht hulls, swimming pools. Actively counteracts osmosis, prolonging the life of products. Recommended as a skincoat for making matrices. Prolongs the term of active operation, due to the increase in the strength and elasticity of the shaping surface of the matrices.
Matrix resin
- Polyester resin P 456 NS It is an isophthalic highly filled non-shrinking system, known as a "fast matrix". It is used for the manufacture of high-quality matrices, designed for maintenance-free operation for 1000 removals or more. It can be used for the manufacture of critical structural elements and products that require the absence of shrinkage and warping.
Matrix gelcoat
- Gelcoat GM 341 VE Vinyl ester, grassy green. Version: brush/spray. Designed for the manufacture of high quality matrices. It has increased resistance to shock-mechanical influences, tearing loads, high temperatures and chemical agents. Any color scale (transparent, white, color on RAL). Version: spray/brush. Ideal for general purpose applications, UV resistant, high yellowing resistance. IZO/NPG, modified acrylic. Any color scale (transparent, white, color on RAL). Version: spray/brush. Used as a top coat, high gloss surface, maximum UV resistance, excellent chemical and weather resistance, structural elasticity and high crack resistance. Application: swimming pools and water slides, boats and other marine vessels, body parts of cars, buses and trucks, sanitary products (kitchen sinks, sinks, bathtubs, shower trays), small architectural forms, cisterns, pipes and fittings.
Reinforcing materials are the basis of composites, providing certain physical and mechanical properties of the finished product. Depending on the method of production of fiberglass, the choice of reinforcing material is largely determined.
The main types of reinforcing glass materials:
Glass mats are made from chopped fiberglass, have a chaotic structure and are glued together with an emulsion or powder binder. Fiberglass - produced by weaving on looms from direct glass roving. They have different directions of fibers, weaving, density. Rovings - are a bundle of continuous fiberglass filaments, differ in density, type of lubricant and the number of fiber threads in the bundle.

Hardeners/Accelerators
The curing process of polyester resins with the addition of a catalyst is the transition of the resin from a liquid state to a more viscous one, until the resin reaches a state where it is no longer a liquid and becomes a gel state, then thickens and after a while acquires full hardness.
In the production of composites, catalysts are used, which are organic peroxides and are supplied in the form of a solution, dispersion, paste or powder.
